Ingredients
Fruit Popsicle Ingredients
- ¾ cup yogurt or juice (6.5 oz)
- 2 ½ cups fruit (fresh or frozen)
- 4-6 tablespoons honey
- ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Gather all ingredients including yogurt or juice, fruit, honey, vanilla extract, and lemon juice to ensure a smooth blending process.
- Blend Mixture: Add all ingredients to the container of your Vitamix blender in the order listed. Blend for 50-70 seconds or until the mixture is completely smooth and consistent.
- Fill Popsicle Molds: Pour the blended mixture evenly into six wells of a popsicle mold to ensure equal portion sizes.
- Assemble Molds: Secure the lids and sticks onto the molds to prepare them for freezing.
- Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight to allow the popsicles to solidify fully.
- Release Popsicles: To remove, run the molds under hot water for about 30 seconds to loosen the popsicles, then gently pull them out from the molds.
- Enjoy Immediately or Store: Enjoy the popsicles right away as a cool treat, or for later storage, lay them on a baking sheet and flash freeze for 30 minutes.
- Store Properly: After flash freezing, place the popsicles in an airtight, freezer-safe container or Ziploc bag until ready to serve.
Notes
- You can customize the fruit used depending on your preference or seasonal availability.
- Adjust the amount of honey to control the sweetness level.
- Using yogurt will make the popsicles creamier compared to juice which will yield a more icy texture.
- If you do not have a Vitamix, any high-powered blender will work.
- Ensure the popsicles freeze completely before removing to avoid breakage.
- For a dairy-free option, use coconut or almond yogurt or juice instead of traditional yogurt.
