Description

These Easy 2 Ingredient Cinnamon Apple Pie Cups are a quick and delicious treat combining canned cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling. Perfectly baked in muffin pans, they offer a warm, gooey dessert with minimal effort and ingredients.

Ingredients

For the Cinnamon Apple Pie Cups

  • 12.4 ounce can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 20 ounce can of apple pie filling
  • Included cinnamon roll icing (from the cinnamon roll can) for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a regular-sized muffin pan to prevent sticking and set it aside for the next steps.
  2. Prepare Cinnamon Rolls: Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and place each cinnamon roll into a muffin cup. Press the dough down in the center and push it up the sides to create a cup shape that can hold the filling.
  3. Add Filling: Spoon a generous scoop of apple pie filling into the center of each cinnamon roll cup, making sure it is evenly distributed.
  4. Bake: Place the muffin pan in the oven and bake for 13 to 15 minutes, or until the edges of the cinnamon rolls turn a golden brown color.
  5. Cool and Drizzle: Remove the muffin pan from the oven and transfer the cinnamon apple pie cups onto a wire rack to cool slightly. Once cooled, drizzle with the cinnamon roll icing included in the cinnamon roll can. Serve and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Use regular-sized muffin pans for best results to achieve perfect cup shapes.
  • You can add nuts or raisins to the apple filling for extra texture and flavor.
  • Make sure not to overfill the cinnamon roll cups with apple filling to avoid overflow during baking.
  • Allow the cups to cool slightly before adding the icing to prevent it from melting too much.
  • These treat cups are best served warm but can be refrigerated and reheated.
