Description

Enjoy a decadent Biscoff Cookie Butter Latte made with rich espresso, creamy steamed milk, and luscious cookie butter, topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of melted cookie butter for an irresistible treat that's perfect for any coffee lover.

Ingredients

Latte Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp cookie butter (recommend Lotus Biscoff Cookie Butter or Trader Joe's Creamy Cookie Butter)
  • 2 oz hot espresso (if using strongly brewed coffee, increase to 3 oz)
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice (2% or whole dairy milk recommended; alternatives noted below)

Topping

  • Whipped cream for topping
  • 1 Tbsp cookie butter, melted for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Brew Espresso or Coffee: Brew 2 ounces of espresso or strong coffee and set it aside while you prepare the other ingredients.
  2. Heat and Froth Milk: Heat 3/4 cup of your preferred milk in a microwave-safe container for 1 minute on normal power. Use a handheld frother to create a smooth foam. Alternatively, warm the milk gently over low to medium heat on the stovetop and froth using a milk frother or whisk.
  3. Mix Cookie Butter and Espresso: Add 2 tablespoons of cookie butter to your mug, then pour in the hot espresso. Stir thoroughly until the cookie butter completely melts and blends with the espresso.
  4. Combine Milk and Coffee Mixture: Pour the frothed hot milk over the espresso and cookie butter mixture in your mug, then spoon the milk foam on top.
  5. Melt Additional Cookie Butter: Place 1 tablespoon of cookie butter in a small microwave-safe bowl and heat it for 30 seconds until melted and drizzle-worthy.
  6. Finish and Serve: Top the latte with a generous swirl of whipped cream, then drizzle the melted cookie butter on top. Optionally, add a sprinkle of crushed Biscoff cookies or a dash of cinnamon for extra flavor and texture.

Notes

  • You can substitute espresso with strongly brewed coffee but adjust the quantity to 3 ounces for balance.
  • Milk alternatives such as almond, oat, or soy milk work well but may alter the frothiness slightly.
  • For a vegan option, use plant-based milk and coconut or soy whipped cream.
  • Adding crushed Biscoff cookies or cinnamon on top adds a delightful crunch and extra spice flavor.
